Kushmanda Mata Aarti

Kushmanda Mata is revered as the fourth manifestation of Goddess Durga, worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri. Her name, a combination of Sanskrit words, translates to the “creator of the little cosmic egg” (the universe). According to mythology, before creation, when darkness prevailed, it was her divine, radiant smile that produced the cosmic egg, filling the universe with light and life.

She is depicted with eight arms (Ashtabhuja) and is believed to reside in the core of the Sun, lending it power and radiance. Devotees worship her for health, strength, prosperity, and the removal of sorrows. She is the source of all energy and is the embodiment of the creative feminine power.
