।। गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु – श्लोक अर्थ सहित ।।

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु
गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।
गुरुर्साक्षात परब्रह्म
तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः।।

हिंदी अर्थ: यह श्लोक गुरु की महिमा को प्रकट करने के लिए बोला जाता है। इस संस्कृत श्लोक का अर्थ निम्नलिखित है:
“गुरु अर्थात शिक्षक ही ब्रह्मा है, गुरु ही विष्णु है, गुरु ही महेश्वर अर्थात शंकर भगवान हैं। गुरु ही साक्षात परब्रह्म है अर्थात गुरु परमात्मा हैं, उन महान गुरु को नमस्कार है।”
