• Offer yellow flowers, yellow sweets (like besan laddoo), turmeric, and chana dal (split chickpeas) to Brihaspati Dev’s image or idol. Ghee lamp and incense sticks are also offered.
• Face the northeast direction while reciting. Before starting, set a clear intention for why you are reciting the Chalisa.
• Begin with a prayer to Lord Ganesha for obstacle removal, followed by a prayer to Brihaspati Dev.
