The Ekamra Purana is a 13th-century Sanskrit treatise and one of the oldest works of Orissa. It is a Shivaite text that highlights the Ekamra Kshetra, a well-known Shaiva Kshetra in Bhubaneswar, India. Ekamra Purana consists of 70 Adhyayas and claims to have six thousand verses. The work is divided into five Amshas or parts; and the Amshas consists of 10, 22, 14, 16 and 8 Adhyayas respectively. It is a Shivaite text and puts Shiva in superior position to Brahma, Vishnu and other gods.

The Ekamra Purana covers the historical, cultural, and religious traditions of the Ekamra Kshetra. It includes the origin of the universe, the origin and history of the temples in the Ekamra Kshetra, and details about rituals, festivals, and the merits of worship.
